Vitamin supplements can help fill the holes in a person’s inadequate diet. Many people get the nutrients they need from food but a few do not and therefore need to find a way to make up for it. Supplements can be for just one or two vitamins or they can be multivitamins, supplying multiple nutrients.
Vitamin supplements can come in capsule, tablet, powder, or liquid form. There is much debate over which form can provide maximum absorption. Studies have shown that the liquid vitamin has a ninety-eight percent absorption rate.
The body better absorbs and utilizes vitamins made from whole foods over those that are synthetically created. Whole food vitamins are condensed from natural sources. Synthetic vitamins are created using chemicals.
